Spanish Cuisine

The food cultures of Spain span thousands of years of culinary history. Bordered by more water than any other European country along with being the gateway between Africa and Europe, the Spanish Territory has been long sought after by many rulers. Couple this long geographic history with the aggressive exploration and colonization of the New World in the 1400’s, Spain’s culinary palate soon stood out, incorporating foods influenced by the Greeks, Romans, Moors and finally Native Americas.
